A look at Detroit Lions playoff seeding scenarios heading into Cowboys game

The Detroit Lions are still alive for the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 seeds in the NFC playoffs heading into Saturday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Here’s how they can end up with each.

As it stands, the Lions are in third place in the NFC despite having the same record as both the 49ers and Eagles. That’s because the 49ers have a better conference record and the Eagles have a higher strength of victory.

Here’s what to know about the Michigan laws taking effect in 2024

Michigan lawmakers passed several new laws and amendments in 2023 that will take effect in 2024.

Making use of the first combined Democratic majority in the state House, Senate and governor’s seat in decades, legislators approved numerous bills from their agenda. Now, laws related to gun safety, minimum wage, LGBTQ+ protections, the “Right to Work” policy, and more will take effect in 2024.

Major overhaul of Ford Road in Canton Township to start in 2024

If you’ve ever driven down Ford Road in Canton Township, perhaps heading to Ikea to pick up a new table, you’ve probably noticed -- it’s incredibly busy.

There are dozens of businesses lining the road, strip malls, major retailers, restaurants and other things, with driveways dotting the outer edge, especially between Haggerty Road and Lilly Road. Good luck trying to make a left turn out of Buffalo Wild Wings.
