Police seek information in non-fatal shooting, stabbing of 3 people on Detroit’s west side

DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking information in identifying two men who were involved in a non-fatal shooting and stabbing on the city’s west side.

The incident occurred on Sunday (Jan. 14) at 1:28 p.m. in the 20500 block of Grand River, outside of a bar where one man fired shots, striking an 18-year-old girl and a 25-year-old man.

Officials say at the same time, another man stabbed a 29-year-old man after an altercation took place inside the bar.

Police say the three victims were treated at a Metro Detroit hospital and were later released.
