But on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, an indictment against Chantelois was unsealed and accuses him of sexual exploitation of a minor, transportation of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor, and possession of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor.

Charges against Chantelois were announced after he was arrested around 4 a.m. Jan. 24 at a motel in Summit Township, Pennsylvania, according to a report by GoErie.com. The report says state troopers found Chantelois with a runaway 16-year-old girl from New York, and that the girl didn’t have clothes on.

The girl told police that she had met Chantelois months earlier on social media. She said he had given her vodka and that they exchanged nude pictures, according to the report.
