GROSS ILE, Mich. – Federal authorities executed a search warrant on Grosse Ile as part of an ongoing investigation.
The search warrant was executed on Monday (July 20) in Grosse Ile Township and was completed safely and without incident, the Grosse Ile Police Department said in a statement.

Police said the investigation is being led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and declined to provide additional details because it remains an active federal case.
The Grosse Ile Police Department said it is unable to comment on the nature of the investigation or the circumstances surrounding the search.
Officials directed all questions regarding the investigation to the FBI’s Detroit Field Office.
