Links, Incorporated holds Detroit Black Family Wellness Expo as part of nationwide effort

DETROIT – The Detroit chapter of Links, Incorporated is hosting a Black Family Wellness Expo this weekend.

The expo will offer professional health seminars, free education, resources, health screenings, and more. The goal is to reduce health and economic disparities and improve lives in the Black community.

The Black Family Wellness Expo will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Second Ebenezer Church at 14601 Dequindre Street in Detroit. It is a collaboration with the Detroit, Great Lakes, Renaissance, and the Greater Wayne County chapters of Links, Incorporated.

The efforts will be aimed at addressing health issues such as hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and access to adequate health care. This event is part of the Links, Incorporated’s nationwide effort to hold expos on March 16.
