11 victims released, 8 still being treated after block party mass shooting on Detroit’s east side DPD said shooting was not random
DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department has provided new information on the deadly mass shooting at a block party on the city’s east side.
DPD announced on Wednesday (July 10) that 11 victims who were involved in the non-fatal shooting were released from the hospital.
Officials said eight are still being treated and are expected to be released in the coming days.
DPD said the shooting, which occurred on Sunday, July 7, 2024, on Reno Street and Rossini Drive, was not random.
