Body of missing Sylvan Lake boater found 200 feet off shore in Oakland County Dive teams were searching since Friday afternoon
OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said they have found the body of the missing Sylvan Lake boater in Oakland County.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office posted to its Facebook page at 10:40 p.m. that they had found the missing boater about 200 feet off of of shore.
Officials announced on Friday (Aug. 9) afternoon that the boater went missing.
The sheriff’s office posted on X that drones, helicopters, boats, and divers had been actively searching the lake for hours for the boater.
