DETROIT – Amir Daniel Napper has received four to 15 years in prison after he killed an innocent man during an airborne chase in Detroit.
Napper was charged in 3rd Circuit Court on Sept. 6.
The incident occurred on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, at 9:15 p.m. on the southbound lane of M-39 (Southfield Freeway) at Grand River Avenue, where the innocent man in his late 50s was sitting in his vehicle.
Napper, who identified as being 20 years old during the time of the crash, was charged with
Fleeing and eluding first-degree
Reckless driving causing death
DWLS causing death
