Traffic backup at Blue Water Bridge causes 2+ hour wait for vehicles heading into Canada Cause of backup remains unclear
CANADA – A significant backup is currently affecting traffic at the Blue Water Bridge at the Canadian border.
The incident occurred on Wednesday (March 26) afternoon.
A wait time exceeds two hours for cars and trucks heading eastbound into Canada.
The cause of the backup remains unclear as of 6 p.m., but it is impacting all vehicles, including commercial ones.
In contrast, the wait time for those heading westbound out of Canada and into the United States is only 15 minutes.
