Police seek person of interest in shooting outside Martin Luther King High School in Detroit Witnesses urged to come forward
Police are looking for a person of interest who may have information regarding a May 29, 2025, shooting outside a Detroit high school. (WDIV)
DETROIT – Police are looking for a person of interest in a shooting outside a high school on Detroit’s east side.
According to authorities, an unknown suspect or suspects fired multiple shots in the parking lot of Martin Luther King High School at about 8:30 p.m., Thursday, May 29.
Shell casings have marked the scene of gunfire in the parking lot of Martin Luther King High School on Detroit’s east side.
The Detroit Police Department is looking to speak to a person of interest who was reportedly in the area at the time of the shooting.
