PONTIAC, Mich. – An Oakland County man was killed in a drive-by shooting on Friday afternoon, officials said.
The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. on Friday, June 13, near Auburn and Russell in Pontiac, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

Witnesses told authorities that a man in a gray car fired several shots before heading westbound on Auburn.
When paramedics arrived, they found a 26-year-old Auburn Hills man with gunshot wounds to his wrist, torso and back.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
During an investigation, detectives found multiple shell casings and identified the suspect vehicle.
Authorities then conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle at Middlebelt and Long Lake in West Bloomfield Township.
The suspect, a 32-year-old Pontiac man, was arrested within hours of the shooting, according to the sheriff’s office.
He is being at the Oakland County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
