Belle Isle has reached max vehicle capacity and is closed to vehicles ahead of the Ford Fireworks.
DETROIT – Belle Isle has reached max capacity and is closed to motor vehicles ahead of the Ford Fireworks.
Bikes and pedestrians can still enter the island till after the fireworks.

The announcement was made on Monday, June 23, at 5:50 p.m. by Michigan State Police.
