Wayne County man dies after crashing ATV into vehicle

A Flat Rock man has died, and his passenger was injured after crashing an ATV into a car Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Melrose Street in Pontiac on July 6, 2025.

Hundreds of nurses and other workers at McLaren Macomb Hospital walked off the job Monday morning.

Hospital workers, part of OPEIU Local 40, are picketing against McLaren Macomb Medical Center as part of a planned three-day unfair labor practice strike.

Camp Mystic says it is “grieving the loss” the loss of 27 campers and counselors as the search continued Monday for victims of catastrophic Texas flooding over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

The statement adds another layer of heartbreak to the devastating flooding sent a wall of water through the century-old summer camp.

Livonia community holds prayer vigil after deadly hit-and-run that claimed life of 3-year-old boy

Community members gathered at Faith Wesleyan Church Sunday night to support a Livonia family devastated by a hit-and-run crash that killed a 3-year-old boy and left his mother in critical condition.

Tia Robinson remains in a medically induced coma after being hit while crossing the street with her 3-year-old twin children. Her son Khalil died from his injuries. Her daughter Khloe has since been released from the hospital.
