OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A man was arrested for allegedly driving drunk with his 12-year-old daughter in the car.
Police received a report of a suspected drunk driver who hit the median wall on I-75 with his vehicle on July 13, just before 10 p.m., and continued driving with a flat tire.

Officers found the car stopped on the shoulder of the southbound I-75 off-ramp to Crooks Road and saw the 40-year-old driver, Jacoby Akeem Miralda, and his 12-year-old daughter walking away from the vehicle.
According to police, Miralda’s speech was slurred while officers were talking to him, he was unable to stand up straight and his eyes were bloodshot and watery.
Police said Miralda did not have a valid driver’s license and had a felony warrant for his arrest.
He was asked to perform several sobriety evaluations, but police said he refused.
Miralda was arrested and taken to the Troy Police Lock-Up facility, where he was read his Chemical Test rights and reportedly refused to submit to a blood draw.
His blood was eventually drawn by medical personnel after police were granted a search warrant.
Miralda was charged with operating while intoxicated, his third offense. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license, failure to stop at the scene of a property damage accident and reckless driving.
He was arraigned on July 14, and bond was set at $10,000.
