Detroit police look for missing 59-year-old woman

DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is asking for help finding missing person Janice Holmes.

Holmes, 59, is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 205 pounds. She has gray and red hair with brown eyes. She is also reported to have tattoos on both of her arms.

Holmes was last seen on July 22, 2025, missing from the 18500 block of Murray Hill. It is unknown what she was last wearing.

Her husband says she is bipolar and diagnosed with Dementia.
