The two were found dead at about 4 p.m. on Labor Day inside their Hazel Park home. Police confirmed they were found with their throats slashed.
Police said they spoke with Linda Hill’s 64-year-old uncle, who lives in the basement. He told them he was watching television when he heard loud noises and came upstairs to find Linda Hill and called 911. He said he was unaware of anyone else being in the house at the time.
Police said they found videos that captured a red Lincoln leaving the home at about the time of the murders. Additional video around that time showed the Lincoln arriving before.
Authorities said Linda Hall was on the phone before she was killed and told the caller she had to go because her brother had come over.
After police were unable to locate Ladamien Hill to inform him of the incident, family members said he entered the home uninvited after police cleared the scene. He reportedly said, “Forgive me,” then went to Linda’s bedroom to lay naked in her bed for several minutes and left.
He reportedly was driving a red Lincoln at the time. Their mother said he later called her and told her where he was in Pontiac.
The Lincoln was found by police nearby with blood inside.
Ladamien Hill was taken into custody Tuesday, Sept. 2. Police said the clothing he reportedly wore on the day of the murders also had blood on it.
He was arraigned Friday, Sept. 5, and denied bond. He pleaded not guilty.
If convicted, Hill faces the possibility of life in prison.
