People can expect to see a new cookie flavor when Girl Scouts sales begin in a few months.

The Girl Scouts of the USA announced the new flavor, Exploremores, in a press release on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025.

Here’s what to know about the new flavor, the full lineup and when the Girl Scout Cookie season begins:

What is the new Girl Scouts cookie for 2026

The brand new cookie, Exploremores, is a sandwich cookie inspired by rocky road ice cream.

“Filled with delicious flavors of chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond–flavored crème, Exploremores reflect the spirit of exploration at the heart of every Girl Scout," a press release from the Girl Scouts of the USA read.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the S’mores and Toast-Yay! flavors would be retired at the end of the 2025 season.
