Motorcyclist dies after being struck by car on Detroit’s east side Man dies, woman arrested

DETROIT – A motorcyclist has died after being struck by a car late Saturday night on Detroit’s east side.
The crash happened at around 11:25 p.m. on Sept. 13 on Van Dyke Avenue near Robinwood Street.
According to Detroit police, a woman was driving her car on Van Dyke when she struck a man riding a motorcycle.
The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The woman was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.
