Northbound and southbound Orchard Lake Road will stay open, but 12 Mile Road will be closed at Orchard Lake Road.
According to the RCOC, the detour for that closure is 12 Mile Road to Middlebelt Road to 13 Mile Road to Farmington Road, back to 12 Mile Road, and vice versa.
Another closure in the same area is also scheduled to happen from Friday, Sept. 26, to Monday, Sept. 29.
The entire project is expected to be completed this fall.
This closure is part of the ongoing construction work on Orchard Lake Road from I-696 to 13 Mile Road, which started in late June.
You can visit the RCOC’s website for more details about the 1.36-mile project.
