Hamtramck police officer Saeed Rizvee, 29, of Warren, was arraigned on a charge of domestic violence by Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
It is alleged that on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, Rizvee physically assaulted his wife.
Rizvee is currently suspended from duty. His legally possessed weapons were confiscated as well, according to police.
On Monday, Sept. 29, 2025, Rizvee was arraigned on one charge of domestic violence, a 93-day misdemeanor, in the 37th District Court in Warren.
Judge Servitto set a $5,000 cash/surety, 10% bond, and Rizvee is ordered to have no contact with the victim.
A pretrial hearing date has not been set by the court at this time.
