Adrian man sentenced for child sexual assault, faces extradition to Louisiana

ADRIAN, Mich. – A 77-year-old man from Adrian will spend at least a decade in jail for sexually assaulting multiple children.

According to authorities, Michael Ronald Goble pleaded guilty to three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The plea agreement was offered by the Lenawee County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office to protect minor victims from the traumatizing experience of testifying in court.

On Friday, Feb. 6, Goble was sentenced to 10-15 years in the Michigan Department of Corrections and lifetime Michigan Sex Offender Registry reporting and monitoring.

Police said Goble is currently facing charges in Louisiana for molesting a child and is expected to be extradited.
