2 arrested in string of Metro Detroit burglaries

Suspects linked to multiple break-ins across Macomb, Oakland counties

TROY, Mich. – Police in Troy have arrested two men in connection with a series of break-ins and burglaries.

30-year-old Jayvon Emmanuel Lindsley and 28-year-old Keith Emmanule Collins were arrested after an early morning break-in on Oct. 12 at a party store near Long Lake and Livernois roads.

Authorities said they left the area but were stopped on I-75 near Rochester Road with evidence in their vehicle.

Lindsley and Collins both were charged Monday, Oct. 13, with possession of burglary tools with intent to steal from a structure, breaking and entering a building with intent and malicious destruction of building.

Lindsley’s bond was set at $150,000, while Collins’ bond is $200,000.

Police believe the two are linked to multiple break-ins throughout Metro Detroit. The Warren Police Department has also filed charges against Lindsley and Collins for breaking and entering with intent and larceny.
