4Warn Weather – A few scattered showers this morning didn’t make a dent in our need for rain here in Metro Detroit.

So far this month, we have only had .2″ of rainfall, and normal is 1.17″ as of Wednesday.

It’s now looking more and more like we will see a good soaking of rain this weekend, especially on Sunday.

For Wednesday night, skies will clear out and any heat we had during the day will escape, cooling us down into the upper 30s to right around 40 degrees.

Thursday

Thursday brings sunshine and average temps in the low 60s.

Weekend forecast

The next chance for rain arrives Friday night and continues into Saturday.

A better chance for widespread, heavier rain comes in the second half of the weekend, specifically on Sunday.
