Trash collection delayed for some Plymouth residents due to operational issues

PLYMOUTH, Mich. – Trash collection was delayed one day for some residents in Plymouth due to “unforeseen operational issues,” the city said.

Crews were unable to complete trash collection on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, for some streets and subdivisions. The trash collection for these areas has been rescheduled for Thursday, Oct. 16.

The areas impacted by this change include the following:

  • Deer between W Ann Arbor trail to the Deer Ct (Deer Ct complete),
  • Kellogg from Maple to Deer Ct
  • Wing from S Main to Harding
  • Palmer from McKinley to S Main
  • Hartsough St from S Main to Harding
  • Simpson from Dewey to Harding
  • Ross from Dewey to Byron
  • One side of Byron from Ross to Dewey St

“Please ensure your trash cans remain at the curb,” this city said in a social media post. “Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
