Whipping winds, rain and cooler temperatures headed for Metro Detroit

Tuesday highs in lower 60s; Wednesday highs in lower 50s

Whipping winds, rain and cooler air are in the forecast for Metro Detroit this week.

Monday

It will be a beautiful evening for tailgating as the Lions host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with temperatures falling into the upper 50s by 6 p.m. on Monday.

Overnight, a few showers develop just in time for the morning commute.

Tuesday

Tuesday brings plenty of clouds, wind and a chance of showers in the afternoon and evening.

Highs will return to normal at 61 degrees.

Wednesday

A windy, cold Wednesday with a few scattered showers and highs only in the low 50s.
