Voters in communities across Metro Detroit will head to the polls on Tuesday with many voting on millages and proposals to fund police, fire departments and schools.
Pontiac School District is asking for a renewal of its current sinking fund. The tax rate for homeowners would not change because it’s a renewal.
So, someone with a home worth $100,000 would pay about $79. Homeowners with a $200,000 house will pay $158, and homeowners with a $300,000 home will pay $237.
