6th arrest made in Halloween terror plot targeting Dearborn; FBI says suspect provided support to ISIS

The FBI believes Ferndale was a target, along with a theme park in Ohio, possibly Cedar Point

FBI Director Kash Patel said a sixth person has been arrested in connection with the Halloween terror plot in Dearborn and Inkster.

The new arrest, which was posted to X on Thursday (Nov. 6), was for allegedly providing material support to ISIS.

This comes after three people were arrested in Dearborn on Halloween, and two more were taken into custody in New Jersey this week.

Investigators say the group was coordinating attacks through online chats, using code words to try to avoid detection.

The FBI believes Ferndale was a target, along with a theme park in Ohio, possibly Cedar Point.
