FBI conducting search warrant at Dearborn home

FBI search home in area of Oxford, Queen streets

DEARBORN, Mich. – There’s a massive police presence in Dearborn early Tuesday morning.

Update: FBI busts through front door of Dearborn home -- here’s why

Police agencies are executing a search warrant at a home in the area of Oxford and Queen streets, near Telegraph and Outer Drive, at around 6 a.m. on Nov. 18.

The FBI confirmed with Local 4 that agents are in Dearborn, but didn’t say why.

Dearborn police said officers from their department are not involved in the search.

What neighbor saw

A neighbor living in the home across the street from the house that’s being raided told Local 4 what he saw and heard that morning.

At around 6 a.m., he heard a booming voice announcing that the FBI was there and will search the home.

He said he saw two people leaving the house, “No violence, they were willing to cooperate,” he recalled.

He said he heard the FBI use flash bangs and searched the house and garage. He also saw them removing stuff from the garage, but he couldn’t see what they were removing.

There was a lot of flashing lights, and the flash bangs sounded like gunshots.

“This is a little bit abnormal,” he said, mentioning that this is a quiet, family neighborhood.

This is a developing story.
