How long will Delta flights be delayed at DTW today? Here’s a chart based on departure time

ROMULUS, Mich. – Delta Air Lines flights at Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) are delayed by several hours Friday due to a computer issue.

UPDATE: Ground delay lifted, no active alerts at DTW

All Delta flights at DTW were under a ground stop from around 6 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Friday while IT maintenance worked to resolve the issue.

Just before 9 a.m., the ground stop was changed to a “ground delay.” That ground delay is in effect until 2:59 p.m. Friday.

The Federal Aviation Administration said most Delta flights at DTW are delayed an average of 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Flights from other airports to DTW are also delayed.
