Oakland County man charged with impaired driving causing death of motorcyclist

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A 55-year-old man from Southfield is facing charges after reportedly killing a motorcyclist.

According to authorities, Paul Stuart Dickson was driving with alcohol and narcotics in his system on Sept. 25 when he pulled in front of a motorcycle on Eight Mile Road who had the right of way.

The motorcyclist collided with Dickson’s vehicle and later died from their injuries.

Dickson reportedly was also driving on a suspended license.

He has since been charged with operating while impaired, causing death.
