Birmingham hotel worker accused of sending sexually explicit messages to minor

OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A Westland man was arrested and charged with allegedly sending sexually explicit messages to a minor.

Police received a report on Nov. 1, 2025, about a 23-year-old working at the Holiday Inn Express off Woodward Avenue in Birmingham actively sending sexually explicit messages to a minor.

After further investigation, Christian Jon Leo, 23, was arrested on Dec. 11.

Leo was arraigned on Dec. 12 on charges of accosting a minor for immoral purposes and using computers to commit a crime. He was given a $750,000 cash bond and was lodged at the Oakland County Jail.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 22 for a probable cause conference.
