HARPER WOODS, Mich. – A student was detained after police found a gun in their locker at Chandler Park High School.
The incident occurred on Tuesday (Jan. 13) at 9 a.m. in the 20000 block of Kelly Road in Harper Woods.
Police said Chandler Park school security staff located the pistol and contacted officials.
Officers detained a 17-year-old boy and later transported him to the Wayne County Juvenile Detention Center.
