SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Shelby Township Summer Fest is back for its third year.
The event is two days long from June 26, 4-11 p.m. to June 27, 6:30-10:30 p.m.

The fest will be located at the Shelby Township Civic Center Campus at 52700 Van Dyke Ave.
Presented by the Shelby Township Downtown Development Authority the event is meant to kick off summer and honor America250.
What you can expect to see June 26
- DJ entertainment
- Touch-a-truck
- Strolling princess and superheroes
- Face paint
- Magicians
- Petting zoo by Shelby Township Library
- A craft beer tent
- Food truck rally hosted by Connect Macomb
- New this year: live taping of “The Treehouse,”, including science demonstrations, live animal encounters and opportunity for children to be part of episode.
- Band, Parallel Fifth will close the night
What you can expect to see June 27
- The Kids Zone
- Rock-climbing wall
- Inflatables
- Backyard games
The township will offer a sensory room in Hope Chapel, in partnership Joanne and Ted Lindsay Foundation Autism Outreach Services, providing a quiet, low-stimulation space for those who need it during the event.
