The northbound lanes of the Southfield Freeway are shut down as police investigate a possible shooting.
The closure happened around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in the northbound lanes near Plymouth Road.
Police said they received a report of a shooting involving a vehicle, but at this time, no injuries have been identified.
The northbound lanes are shut down from Warren Road to Joy Road as the investigation continues. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
