DETROIT – A man was critically injured Thursday after being shot while trying to break up a fight on Detroit’s west side.

It happened just after noon, May 28, at a home on Nall Street, near the intersection of Grand Boulevard and Buchanan Street.

Police said the man tried to break up a fight with other people inside the home when he was shot. He was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
