DETROIT – Police are searching for a suspect who fled after shooting a man in Midtown.
The shooting occurred near the intersection of Woodward Avenue and Mack Avenue, according to authorities.

Police said the victim was transported to a Metro Detroit hospital for treatment.
He was listed in stable condition but has since been downgraded to critical condition by Detroit police.
Officials said the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived and remains at large.
Police have not released a description of the suspect or disclosed a possible motive for the shooting.
The incident remains under investigation.
