1 killed by hit-and-run in Detroit

DETROIT – A man crossing the road was struck by a vehicle, according to police the vehicle then fled the scene.

Detroit police say the hit-and-run happened on June 13 around 10 p.m. on West 7-mile Road and Wormer.

The man in his 40s was transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital, say police.

According to authorities the man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
