OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – An Ortonville man is facing multiple charges after allegedly attacking his mother and pointing a gun at the mother of his children.
Aaron Hutyra, 34, was charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, assault with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence, possession of a firearm under the influence and two counts of felony firearm.

Hutyra is accused of attacking his wheelchair-bound mother on June 21 and threatening to kill himself and his parents. The prosecutor’s office said he was intoxicated during the attack.
His mother was hospitalized with several injuries, including a broken nose and a brain bleed.
Hutyra is also accused of pointing a gun at the mother of his children.
He was arraigned in court on June 23 and was given a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to court on July 2 for a probable cause conference.
