The boy was taken to a Metro Detroit hospital for treatment.

The juvenile appeared in court on Tuesday, where his bond was set at $8,000, 10%, and the teen was ordered to be placed on house arrest.
As conditions of his release, the teen may not have contact with the victim or witnesses, may not possess firearms, must not incur any new criminal charges, and must attend all future court hearings.
