WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – The Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan is closed to the public on Thursday and Friday due to hazardous air quality conditions from the Canadian wildfire smoke.
Officials said all court operations will be closed to the public from 12:30 p.m. on July 16 through Friday, July 17.

All in-person hearings, proceedings and other in-person matters will be adjourned and rescheduled. However, remote-only proceedings will continue as scheduled.
The court is expected to resume normal operations on Monday, July 20, at 8:30 a.m.
