Man dies after being shot at his Hazel Park home

HAZEL PARK, Mich. – A man was shot and killed at his home in Hazel Park Monday afternoon.

The shooting happened at a home in the 500 block of E George on Aug. 3 just after 1 p.m.

Hazel Park police said officers responded to the area after receiving reports of gunshots coming from inside the home. When they arrived, they found a 43-year-old Hazel Park man with gunshot wounds.

The man, identified as Ryan Leslie Adams, was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police believe he was the only person targeted in the attack. No details were provided on a suspect.
