MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A two-day search has ended with the body of a 23-year-old Northville man being recovered from Lake St. Clair.
On Monday, Aug. 10, around 11 a.m., the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team recovered the body of 23-year-old James “Jak” Kramer, 23.
Police said Kramer reportedly entered the water on the evening of Saturday (Aug.8).
Officials said witnesses reported Kramer went underwater and did not resurface.
The United States Coast Guard and St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene along with the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office Marine Division.
Officials said the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team was called in to assist, and the dive team conducted an extensive search of the area before locating and recovering Kramer’s body Monday morning.
Police said foul play is not suspected.
