West Bloomfield Township Trustee Jibran “Jim” Manna is facing seven felony charges after investigators said he hid cameras in the bedrooms and bathrooms of two victims.

The investigation began after the West Bloomfield Township Police Department received a report on Aug. 9.

Folder labeled ‘Shhh’ hid Taylor man’s child sex abuse videos, feds say

Federal investigators say a Taylor man used the Kik messaging app to send and receive child sexually abusive material (CSAM) and kept dozens of images and videos in a password-protected folder called “Shhh” on his phone, according to FBI Detroit.

Harold Joseph Labeau, 29, was charged Aug. 12, 2026, with distribution and receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

Dearborn is preparing for a heightened police presence at Tuesday’s city council meeting after social media posts about a planned pro-Christian protest began circulating online.

Conservative activist Jake Lang and Detroit Pastor Lorenzo Sewell are listed as organizers behind what is being called a “Christian Crusader March on Dearborn.”
