Minibike rider in critical condition after running stop sign, hitting car on Detroit's west side

DETROIT – A minibike rider is in critical condition after running a stop sign and hitting a car Sunday afternoon in Detroit.

Police said the rider, whose age is unknown, crashed into the car in the area of Washburn Street and Fullerton Avenue.

The driver of the car stayed on the scene. They were not injured, police said.
