'We're going to f***ing die!' Video shows roommates' narrow escape from NorCal wildfires

Dramatic video from Northern California shows two roommates narrowly escaping their Yuba County home as wildfires move through their neighborhood.

The video shows two men in an SUV surrounded by flames. At one point, the passenger gets out to open a gate. "We're going to f***ing die, dude! We've got to get out of here!" he yells as he gets back in the car. He tells the driver that he was barely able to breathe outside.

The men continue making their escape in the SUV. One of them mentions that the fire was going to blow right through their house. They say that their eyes are burning and that they're having trouble seeing.

Eventually, the driver pushes through a gate and the men make it out of the blaze.

According to KCRA, the men lost everything in the fire.

At least 40 people have been killed and at least 100 more hospitalized in the deadly wildfires that began October 8 in Northern California's wine country. The fires have scorched an estimated 217,000 acres and burned out at least 5,700 structures.
