Police: Man approaches teen in Southfield, asks her about sex

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Police are looking for a man who approached a 16-year-old girl while she was walking to Southfield Regional Academy.

According to police, the girl was walking north on the west side of Evergreen Road near Midway Street when a man pulled up next to her.

He started talking to her and asked if she wanted to make money. When the girl asked what kind of job, the man told her sex, police said.

The girl said no, and the man drove away, south on Evergreen Road.

Police said the man was a black, about 45-50 years old with salt and pepper hair and a thin build. He was wearing a beige coat and gray slacks.

The vehicle is described as a black newer model four-door with silver handles.
