PONTIAC, Mich. – Oakland County Sheriff's deputies investigated a deadly hit-and-run Thursday in Pontiac.
The crash happened at about 2:45 a.m. on Baldwin Avenue near Montcalm Street.
Baldwin Avenue closed briefly south of Montcalm Street while investigators took measurements and gather evidence.
The victim, Charles Russell Cronan, 47, was found in the middle of the road by a passerby.
The suspect vehicle is described as a midsize dark-colored SUV.
