Eastpointe bus stop shooting captured on surveillance video

Victim suffered non-life threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder

EASTPOINTE, Mich. – In a video taken from a nearby surveillance camera, a shocking assault was captured in Eastpointe.

In the video, you can see a man selling flowers at the corner of a busy bus stop on Gratiot and 8 Mile on Friday morning.

The man is approached by another man, and words are exchanged. An argument escalates, and the man appears to pull a gun on the flower seller.

Within a blink of an eye, shots are fired, and the man selling flowers is shot at point-blank range, striking the victim in the shoulder.

Incredibly, authorities said the injury was non-life threatening. 

The alleged shooter waits at the bus stop and is eventually taken into custody by Eastpointe police.
