Taylor woman accused of committing robberies while holding infant daughter as decoy

Kellie Condron accused of committing multiple robberies

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Taylor woman was arrested last week when police said she stole money and a credit card from a Lifetime Fitness in Bloomfield Township while holding her infant daughter.

Kellie Condron, 30, is accused of stealing $400 and a MasterCard on June 6 from a Lifetime Fitness customer at 4106 Telegraph Road. Surveillance video showed Condron holding her daughter while she committed the crime, police said.

Other police agencies reported similar incidents, and it was determined Condron was "consistently using her infant as a decoy," police said.

When Condron returned to the Telegraph gym to commit another crime, officers arrested her.

Investigators said Condron stole and used a different credit card in a separate incident.

The Oakland County Prosecutor's Office charged Condron with larceny in a building, fraudulent use of a financial transaction device and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Condron was arraigned June 10 and is being held on $10,000 bail.
