DETROIT – Detroit police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men wanted in connection with a shooting on the city's west side.
Police released video that shows two men riding in a newer-model black sedan around 6 p.m. Thursday pull up to a parked car where two men are standing.
One of the men in the sedan got out with a gun and tried to rob a 50-year-old man. A struggle ensued and the man fired several shots at the victim, injuring him.
After the shots were fired, the shooter got back in the sedan and the two men drove away.
The victim was taken to a hospital and is listed in serious condition.

The incident happened in the 300 block of Rosedale Court.
Police are searching for two armed men described as being in their 20s, black with light complexions and having thin builds. The driver of the sedan was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The other man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black gym shoes.
